CLASS: Integrated Pest Management
Join our head beekeeper, Carmen Atwater of Feral Farms, on a journey through pest management and mitigation strategies! You will receive information on interventions, treatments, timings, and techniques for a variety of pests, from varroa mites to hive beetles and beyond.
One of the primary reasons we see beekeepers lose their hives from year to year is poor pest management, especially due to late or ineffective varroa mite mitigations. If you have a problem losing your hives in the fall each season, or if this is your first year, this is a crucial class to take!
This 2-hour session will be held at our storefront at 23 Merrimon Avenue in Weaverville, NC on Saturday June 28th, 2025 from 3-5PM.
