Local Franklin Wildflower Honey
Wildflower honeys are deep and complex, and what we call polyfloral. This means the honey is a natural blend of nectars and pollens of the many, many flowers in the 3-5 mile radius surrounding the beehive. They're neat snapshots of the immediately local flora!
This wildflower is from just a valley over in Franklin, NC, a place with many emblematic plant species of the Western North Carolina and Southern Appalachians region. It makes a great gift for those who want a little taste of the area to take home with them, or for locals who want something made close by!
Franklin Wildflower also comes in bulk sizes if you need larger quantities of honey. All our honey is raw (unpasteurized) and unfiltered.
Tasting notes : Our Franklin Wildflower has a sweet, classic honey taste reminiscent of the clover honey you find in supermarkets, but with much more brightness and depth. It's got universal appeal.
