Event: Seed Swap, March 8, 2025
Free! Drop in anytime from 3pm - 7pm to share seeds, have tea, and chat plants with other green-minded folks!
If you’ve never been to a seed swap, you’re missing out! These gardening get-togethers are a lot of fun and a great way to get in touch with a community of growers.
You don't have to have seeds to bring in order to get seeds - this is about sharing the bounty to allow everyone who can grow food and herbs to do so.
What to bring:
- Seeds: bring clearly-labeled seeds, and try to be sure that you are bringing viable seeds. Seeds can last for a long time in good storage conditions, but some will gradually lose their viability over time so fresher seeds might be better.
- Containers: Anything that works to take home your new seeds, from baggies to baby food jars or other small containers. We'll have limited amounts on hand.
- Plant Starts: It is early in the season, but if you have spare plant babies, there might be other hardy early spring/winter sowing fanatics out there! Please label them clearly with the variety.
When you place an order, we will ESTIMATE shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIPPING IS AN ESTIMATE, AND WE MAY CONTACT YOU WITH AN UPDATED PRICE AS WE PROCESS YOUR ORDER. This does not apply to orders being picked up in the store.
