10-Frame West Beetle Trap
This West Small Hive Beetle Trap is made to sit on a 10 frame bottom board using the two included wooden shims. The trap consists of a tray that you partially fill with a small amount of vegetable oil and a specially designed lid that is covered with almost 300 small slots. The Small Hive Beetles attempt to hide in the slots as an escape route from attacking bees, then they fall into the tray filled with thick Non-Toxic Vegetable Oil.
Please be sure that the trap is level before you add the vegetable oil. Place trap on bottom and fill 1/2 with oil, then replace the cover.
