Each cotton suit is made with a single, thick layer of cotton fabric that offers defense from bee stings and sturdiness through heavy use. These suits are one-pieces; the pants and jacket are attached to one another.
All suits and jackets come with a veil, and styles may vary. A fencing or fancy veil is a forward-facing veil that fits over the head much like a fencing hood.
Suits tend to be quite roomy and long in the legs. A little bagginess is preferable to accommodate for clothes underneath, and to provide more space away from the skin. Cotton suits tend to be a bit less baggy than ventilated suits.
