Cut Comb Wax Foundation
"Cut comb" foundations are unwired, thin sheets of wax that are often used in honey super frames by beekeepers hoping to harvest honeycomb instead of just honey. They are stamped with a honeycomb pattern that helps bees build neat comb off of them.
They tend to be less sturdy than other foundation types, so beekeepers will either install support wires or support pins at the side of the frame to give it stability. Some beekeepers even use cut comb in their brood chambers, as it is usually slightly cheaper than foundation with pre-installed wires.
This listing is for single sheets of wax. For bulk cut comb foundation, please look here.
